Use of 2H-benzimidazol-2-one, 1,3-dihydro-1-(2{4-[-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl]- 1- piperazinyl}ethyl)-or a physiologically acceptable acid addition salt thereo f, for the manufacture of a medicament for the treatment of extrapyramidal movement disorders. These extrapyramidal movement disorders may result from idopathic Parkinson's disease, from the adverse effects of the administratio n of anti-Parkinson drugs in idiopathic Parkinson's disease, from dyskinesias caused by idiopathic Parkinson's disease and/or long-term administration of anti-Parkinson drugs, from Parkinson-like or Parkinson-related syndromes of from Parkinsonoid symptomes. Another aspect of the present invention concern s a pharmaceutical composition comprising, as active ingredients -(I) 2H- benzimidazol-2-one, 1,3-dihydro-1-(2-{4-[3-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl]-1- piperazinyl}ethyl)-or a physiologically acceptable acid addition salt thereo f, and (II) at least one anti-Parkinson drug, in combination with one or more pharmaceutically acceptable excipients.
