<p>Method for providing a paging signal from a first type switching means (MSC) to a mobile communication means (MS) located in a cellular communication network, said paging signal being provided as a first mode paging signal (1), said mobile communication means (MS) being engaged in a second mode suitable for communication with a second type switching means (PMSC) connected to said first type switching means (MSC), and said cellular network comprising a plurality of radio transmission means (TRX) for radio communication with said mobile communication means (MS), said method comprising the steps :- identifying a radio transmission means (TRX) presently assigned to said mobile communication means (MS), - providing said paging signal from said first type switching means (MSC) to said identified radio transmission means (TRX), and transmitting said paging signal from said identified radio transmission means (TRX) to said mobile communication means (MS).</p> |
