Payment transaction method for data network uses management system and anonymous numbered accounts for payment without revealing customer details

The payment transaction method uses a management system (10) incorporating at least one databank server with at least one databank for anonymous numbered accounts, each provided with an associated access code. A customer transfers transaction data to the databank server upon selection of goods or services, with comparison of a handler identity code in the transaction data with stored handler identity codes, for transfer of the transaction data to the identified handler server (14) and debiting of the payment from a numbered account after execution of an authentication procedure. An Independent claim for a device for execution of payment transactions in a data network is also included.
