An improved filter support structure (120) for supporting filter media (52). The support structure (120) includes two sections (122, 124) removably coupled together with an improved coupling assembly. The first section (122) has a cross section (126) presenting a first width spaced apart from a second width, the second width being less than the first width. The coupling assembly includes an element (124) carried by the second section (128), and presents an engagement width that is greater than the second width and less than or equal to the first width such that the element may be shiftably received within the first section at the first width, and can be removably engaged at the second width.
