<p>The invention relates to a device that is used to perform exponentiation calculations applied to points on an elliptical curve which is defined on a body 1K of characteristic different from 3 and comprising a point of order 3. The inventive device comprises a calculating device (1) that is used to perform an operation OP involving the addition, subtraction or doubling of points on an elliptical curve defined by a Hesse parameterisation on a body of characteristic different from 3. The calculating device comprises implicit or explicit means used for permuting (10) the point co-ordinates applied as inputs of said device according to the OP operation to be performed; and calculating means (11) which are used to add two points, R1 and R2, represented by the co-ordinates supplied by said permutation means (10).</p> |
