<p>A developer reference system for a contact development process having machine frame mounted support rollers (100, 102, 104, 106) for the developer rolls(94). Skew between each PC drum (20, 22, 24, 26) and each developer roll (94) is reduced by referencing each to the same support structure. Rolling resistance of the developer roll support rollers (100, 102, 104, 106) is reduced by using thin diameter metal pins (120, 122, 124, 126) for mounting the support rollers (100, 102, 104, 106).</p> |
