<p>A modular screen panel for a screening machine is disclosed which includes a microchip 50 embedded in the panel. The microchip 50 contains data which will identify the panel and can be read by a scanner so that the panel can be identified and data relating to its manufacture entered into the database. The panel can also be scanned in use to enter information into the database relating to wear rate of the panel to facilitate maintenance, repair and replacement of the panel.</p> |
