A clock apparatus includes a standard time clock for counting the standard time and summer time calculating means for adding a predetermined correction value to the standard time to calculate a summer time when the standard time is decided to be within a summer time period. In the clock apparatus, when the time input for time setting is after the summer time start time by the standard time and before the summer time start time by the summer time, the aforementioned time correction value is added to correct the input time and the time corrected is set as the summer time in the standard time clock. A monitoring camera apparatus has the aforementioned clock apparatus and adds the time data output from the clock apparatus upon an image pickup, to image data obtained by the pickup.
