METHOD OF WATER TREATMENT

FIELD: methods of treatment of water for domestic and industrial water supply systems. SUBSTANCE: method includes introduction of reagents into water to be treated directly on water purification works before mixer: chlorine- containing reagent at doze of preliminary (primary) chlorination, mineral coagulant at doze of 1-2 mg/cu.dm by its active part and cation flocculant at doze by its active part of 1.0-2.5% of muddiness of water being treated. Gradient of rate of mixing in mixer and in pipe line to flocculation chambers is assumed to be equal to 80-120 c-1 at mixing time ranging from 3 to 5 min, in flocculation chamber from 40 c-1 at mixing time ranging from 20 to 30 min and to 50 c-1 at mixing time ranging from 20 to 30 min. Total magnitude of Camp criterion ranges from 86400 to 126000. EFFECT: optimization of aggregation of suspended substances; improved settling of suspended substances in settlers; reduced capital outlays; facilitated technological monitoring. 3 tbl, 1 ex
