PURPOSE:To provide an insulation monitoring apparatus, for a power apparatus, by which the existence of the abnormality of a signal transmission line which connects an antenna for partial-discharge detection to a detection part can be confirmed at any time. CONSTITUTION:An antenna 3, for partial-discharge detection, which has been attached to a power apparatus is connected to a detection part 10 through an impedance Z for test and a coaxial cable 9. When a signal which is transmitted through the coaxial cable 9 from the antenna 3 is received by the detection part 10 and electromagnetic waves which are generated by a partial discharge from the received signal are detected, it is detected that the insulation abnormality of the power apparatus has been generated. When the impedance Z for test is measured through the coaxial cable 9 from the side of the detection part 10, the existence of the abnormality of a signal transmission line including the coaxial cable 9 can be detected at any time. |
