METHOD FOR REMOVING INTERNAL BOUNDARY RETINAL MEMBRANE IN THE CASES OF POSTERIOR EYE SEGMENT DISEASES

FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves carrying out subtotal closed vitrectomy, removing posterior hyaloid layers of the vitreous body. Eye cavity is filled with sterile air. 0.1-0.2 ml of 0.25% indocyanine green solution is introduced in macular area direction and 1-2 ml of perfluororganic substance is added. The perfluororganic substance is removed with dye residuals 1-2 min later. The boundary membrane is removed by means of intravitreal forceps after achieving good visualization of the boundary membrane. EFFECT: atraumatic withdrawal and improved visualization of the internal boundary membrane.
