FIELD: production of felt wool articles, in particular, high boots and shoes. SUBSTANCE: felt article construction has annular, and/or spiral and/or arced corrugations adjoining limb joint regions. Felt article has sole and head connected to top. Length of article top part is increased from knee joint to hip joint and upper cut of top is extending in parallel with inguinal fold. Method involves forming felt boot work piece on detachable block having central body made in the form of pyramid and side parts formed as longitudinal segments. EFFECT: reduced wear of articles in reversible deformation zones and flexural rigidity of article in reversible deformation zone. 3 cl, 2 dwg
