<p>A medicament containing serotonin and an antioxidant useful in the treatment of pain, including migraines and premenstrual syndrome (PMS); chronic fatigue symptoms; depression and eating disorders; and a method for increasing the serotonin level in humans by orally administering a composition containing serotonin and an antioxidant in an amount effective to prevent oxidation or degradation of the serotonin in the gastrointestinal tract are herein described.</p> |
