PURPOSE: A system and a method for the password security of an automatic teller machine using input time information between each number of the password are provided to maximize a security and to completely prevent the withdrawal of money due to the exposure of the password. CONSTITUTION: The password security system for an automatic teller machine consists of at least one automatic teller machine(100) programmed to allow a user to withdraw money or use other services thereof after comparing numbers of a password input by a user, input time and other conditions performed by the user with predetermined numbers, input time and other conditions; and a central processing system(300) for sorting and saving the predetermined password number, input time and other condition data to transmit the data to the automatic teller machines. |
