FIELD: plastic metal working, possibly in trimming and multiple cold upsetting automatic presses. SUBSTANCE: tool unit includes housing with opening; supporting sleeve and trimming lower die. Tool unit is also provided with intermediate slit sleeve having cone outer surface. Opening of housing has cone surface reciprocal to that of slit sleeve. EFFECT: improved design providing lowered consumption of high-cost tool material due to reduced outer diameter of trimming die, clearance-free mounting of trimming die in housing, increased useful life period of housing. 1 dwg
