METHOD FOR SELECTING OPTICAL CORRECTION OF VISION FOR READING AND WORKING WITH COMPUTER

FIELD: medicine, in particular, ophthalmology. SUBSTANCE: method involves selecting glass lenses for distance and adding spherical plus lenses similar for both eyes in accordance with patient's age and distance to object; additionally selecting by means of liquid crystal glasses and test objects individual spherical component for each eye to provide for identical vision legibility of optotypes with two eyes; determining prismatic correction member through fixation disparity test by using shifting in horizontal plane of optotypes for two eyes; providing individual correction with distance to printed text of 33 cm and to computer monitor of 60 cm. Method provides for three types of binocular balance (accommodation, muscle, size) and allows comfortable glasses for correction of sight to be selected for working at short distance.
