The machine tool includes: an operating head (13) movable along an axis of horizontal translation (X) and along an axis of vertical translation (Z), and oscillating around two oscillation axes (B, C); at least a means (29A; 29B) for supporting the workpieces being machined forming a supporting surface for said workpieces, carried by a slide (27A; 27B) movable along a second axis of horizontal translation (Y) along a guide system (25A; 25B) perpendicular to said first axis of horizontal translation (X); and a control unit (34) for the movements of said operating head and said slide.
