Powder composition for bleaching human keratinic fibers, comprising a peroxy salt includes: (a) a nonionic or anionic amphiphilic polymer having at least one fatty chain; and (b) less than 10 wt.% of a sugar ester of a fatty acid having 12-24 carbon (C) atoms. An Independent claim is also included for a kit comprising the powder composition in one compartment and an aqueous hydrogen peroxide composition with a strength of no more than 40 volumes in another compartment.
