The torque transmission device functions between an engine and a gear, with the engine driven shaft and the gear input shaft having at least one clutch plate for engagement and disengagement of torque transmission, together with a pressure plate arranged within a housing and a corresponding operating device. The input part (8) of at least one clutch plate (4) is firmly connected to the driven shaft (2). The output area (9) of the clutch plate is radially movable in relation to the input part. The output area of the clutch plate, in relation to the input part, is at least limitedly radially and/or axially and/or cardanically movable. The connection between the output area and the input part of the clutch plate is by means of at least one sprung component (10). The output area works in conjunction with a stop (11) on the input part.
