AEROSOL SORBING FILTER AND METHOD OF ITS MANUFACTURE

FIELD: aerosol sorbing filters. SUBSTANCE: aerosol sorbing filter has casing accommodating filter medium arranged in zigzag with separators of corrugated aluminum sheet installed in filter medium folds. Filter medium is made of coarse-fibrous material containing highly dispersed sorbent with highly porous particles 1-100 mcm in diameter and packed in layers. The layer last in said layers in direction of air flow is made of fine-fibrous material and contains no sorbent. Use of said filter provides for simplification of process of complex air cleaning due to the fact that it possesses highly efficient dust-capacitive aerosol filter absorbing iodides, highly efficient with respect to aerosols and highly capacitive relative to molecular iodine and its organic compounds.
