Process for obtaining granules of a stable adduct of sodium sulphate and hydrogen peroxide containing sodium chloride

The procedure comprises the direct granulation of an intimate mixture of Na2SO2 and NaCl, with H2O2, in the appropriate stoichiometric proportion. The granulated adduct Ä4Na2SO4.2H2O2.NaClÜ obtained is intrinsically very stable, and, once dry, only contains up to 4.6 % of active oxygen. Said adduct can be used as a whitener in detergent formulations.
