<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deodorizing apparatus for a coating booth that allows continuous operation, and reduces running cost for deodorizing operation. SOLUTION: An adsorption rotor 20 comprising an activated carbon disk is installed in an exhaust gas passage 14 in connection with a coating booth. The absorption rotor 20 is divided into a treatment part to absorb a solvent through the exposure to the exhaust gas passage 14 and a regeneration part that eliminates the absorbed solvent by passing a small amount of preheated hot blast. A catalyst deodorizing part, which conducts the catalytic oxidation treatment of the exhaust gas concentrated by eliminating the solvent in the regeneration part, is installed. By controlling the rotation of the absorbed rotor 20 at the predetermined low speed to rotatively move it from the treatment part to the regeneration part, the exhaust gas which is compulsorily exhausted from the coating booth is made odorless at the treatment part and is discharged, while the concentrated exhaust gas at the regeneration part is made odorless at the catalyst deodorizing part and is discharged.</p> |
