<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic whiteboard wherein a marker pen of any color can be fitted in the same pen holder, and the color information of the fitted marker pen can be accurately transmitted from the pen holder. SOLUTION: This electronic whiteboard has the pen holder 1 and a plurality of receiving sensors. In this case, a marker pen 2d for whiteboard is fitted in the pen holder 1, and an infrared ray and an ultrasonic wave including the color information of the marker pen for whiteboard are transmitted by the pen holder 1. The plurality of receiving sensors measure a distance to the pen holder by an arrival time interval until the infrared ray and the ultrasonic wave transmitted from the pen holder are received. In such an electronic whiteboard for the marker pens for whiteboard, silver band-shape printings 3 and 4 having patterns which are different depending on colors are applied on the body sections. Then, for the pen holder, photo-interactor sensors 7 and 8 are provided at locations corresponding with the silver band-shape printings when the marker pen for whiteboard is fitted.</p> |
