<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a membrane separator capable of uniformly scraping off sludge adhered to a filter film by washing the filter film by a mechanical technique without receiving the effect of water streams and exerting effect on biological treatment. SOLUTION: The membrane separator is constituted so as to be immersed in a biological reaction tank for treating organic wastewater such as sewage or the like to separate treated water and sludge by filtering and equipped with membrane modules 2 each equipped with the filter film 21 and provided with an intake part and a sludge scraping-off device for mechanically scraping off the sludge bonded to the surfaces of the filter films 21 of the membrane modules 2 by scraping-off instruments 9.</p> |
