PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a full automatic washing machine capable of suppressing the total height low while keeping a low cost and high reliability by the simplification of a mechanism part. SOLUTION: This washing machine comprises a water tub 2 elastically supported within an outer box, two bearings 7 and 8 arranged on the bottom outside of the water tub with a vertical space, a tub shaft 6 provided to extend through the bottom of the water tub and supported rotatably to the water tub by the two bearings 2, a rotating tub 4 fixed to the upper end of the tub shaft and rotated within the water tub, a stirring body 10 integrally fitted within the rotating tub so as to be capable of stirring the water contained in the rotating tub, and a drive motor 14 arranged between the two bearings and comprising a rotor 15 fixed to the tub shaft and a stator 16 fixed to the water tub.
