PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a basket for basketball in which the basket is folded and fixed parallel to a basket board by a basket ring being made to be rotated and limited in use in a specified case in the basket for basketball provided with the basket ring in the front of the basket board provided vertically to a sporting surface that is retained parallel to the sporting surface. SOLUTION: The basket for basketball is provided with the basket board 1 provided vertically to the sporting surface for a basketball match, a support member 2 fixed on a center part of a front face lower part of the basket board 1 and the basket ring 3 in which a rear end part thereof is supported by the support member 2 and retained parallel to the sporting surface, wherein the basket ring 3 is able to be rotated on the support member 2 and folded to be fixed approximately parallel to the basket board 1, allowing the use of the basket to be limited in the specified case.
