PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toilet paper holder holding the toilet paper tip side of a paper roll separately from the outer circumference of the paper roll for easily feeding the tip side picked to be pulled out. SOLUTION: In this toilet paper holder 1, a supporting shaft 9 supporting a paper roll 8 is arranged in a holder body, while a pressing cover 4 touching the upper face of the paper roll 8 is arranged freely rotationally. A paper insertion part 10 for inserting the tip side of toilet paper 7 is arranged on the tip side bottom face of the pressing cover 4 positioned forward beyond the outer circumferential face of the paper roll 8.
