PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mouse trap capable of easily carrying out after-treatment of a caught mouse C in a trap cage 2, when the mouse is caught by using the mouse trap which is composed of the trap cage 2 equipped with an openable cover 3 on an opening 4 for access of the mouse and a bait-setting part 9 hung inside the trap cage 2 so as to be engaged with the openable cover 3 and further which is so structured that the openable cover 3 kept in a position suspended to be opened can be closed by force of a spring in accordance with movement of the bait-setting part 9. SOLUTION: In this mouse trap 1, an outlet pipe 10 communicating with the trap cage 2 and having a hollow part through which the mouse can enter the trap cage 2 is attached to a side wall near to the bottom of the trap cage 2, the outlet pipe 10 has an openable gate plate 12 which is openable only when it is operated from the outside of the pipe so that the hollow part is freely opened and closed, and further the outlet pipe is so structured that a trap bag 20 is attached to the tip thereof. Therefore, the caught mouse C in the trap cage 2 unforcedly moves into the trap bag 20 through the outlet pipe 10 when the openable gate plate 12 is opened, so that the mouse is sealed and caught in the bag.
