PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem for a conventional printer controller and its data transfer control method that when print page data is transferred from a page memory to a line buffer, 32 bit print page data is read out from the page memory and written, as it is, in the line buffer and since the number of line buffers is increased, the part cost is increased. SOLUTION: The printer controller comprises a data selecting section for dividing print page data being transferred from a page memory to a line buffer and selecting one kind of divided data being outtputted to the line buffer, and a select signal generating circuit section outputting a signal for selecting data being transferred to the line buffer. |
