PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a food additive composition which enables the intake of a trace element, zinc, as an inorganic nutritive element and main minerals such as sodium, calcium, potassium and magnesium in a good balance. SOLUTION: This food additive composition comprises dry yeast having a large zinc content, salts including sodium chloride, potassium chloride, calcium chloride, magnesium sulfate, magnesium carbonate, and egg shell calcium, and, if necessary, a L-glutamate. The food additive composition can be used for cooking instead of salt (sodium chloride) to take a required intake or part of zinc, and sodium, calcium, potassium and magnesium in a good balance and further reduce a sodium chloride intake. |
