PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a machine tool for restraining conduction and transmission of heat to a machining part from a heating generating source with the simple constitution. SOLUTION: This machine tool is provided with a machining part 2 including a holding table 8 provided with a holding means for holding a workpiece 7, a tool table 12 for installing a machining tool for machining the workpiece 7, and a machining table base 5 for supporting these holding table 8 and tool table 12, a heat source intensively arranging part 4 including a machining oil unit 41 for supplying machining oil to a machining area, and a power source control unit 43 for supplying electric power to respective driving sources, and a heat insulating tank 14 flowingly filled with a heat insulating liquid. The heat insulating tank 14 substantially separates the machining part 2 and the heat source intensively arranging part 4, restrains the conduction and transmission of the heat generated by the heat source intensively arranging part 4 to the machining part 2, and substantially uniformizes the heat conducted and transmitted to the machining table base 5.
