PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a knee bolster for a vehicle capable of simultaneously relaxing shock to an occupant's knee and pressure of a shin due to feet panel deformation in case of a frontal impact. SOLUTION: When the knees 301 abut on a contact surface 201a of the knee bolster 201 in case of a frontal impact, the contact surface 201a, upper and lower walls 201b, 201c are compressed and deformed to absorb energy, so that shock to the knees 301 is relaxed, and when upward load is applied to the contact surface 201a through the knees 30 by backward movement of the feet panel 107, the knee bolster 201 is moved upward to a bolt 204 through an oblong hole 203 to let the knees 301 escape upward, thereby avoiding pressure of the shin 304.
