PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle seat in which a front end of a seat cushion need not be manually lifted when springing up the seat cushion. SOLUTION: The seat cushion S1 is supported on a seat track T by a link arm 3, and the seat cushion S1 is moved forward from a seating position by the turn of the link arm 3, and sprung up forward. A movement regulating piece 13 for permitting the movement upward of the rear end of the seat cushion S1 when the rear end of the seat cushion S1 is moved forward from the seating position is provided. A torsion bar 7 for urging the seat cushion S1 in the direction in which the front end thereof is raised upwardly when the seat cushion S1 is in the seating position, a hook plate 4 for regulating the raise of the front end of the seat cushion S1 and a striker 5 are provided, and a strap 6 for unlocking the regulation by the hook plate 4 is provided.
