PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a run flat tire capable of improving run flat performance by effectively suppressing buckling. SOLUTION: In this run flat tire provided with a carcass layer 6 formed of carcass plies 6a and 6b, a belt layer 7 formed of at least two belt plies of a first belt ply 7a and a second belt ply 7b which are arranged on the outside of the tire radial direction of the carcass layer 6, a tread part 2 provided on the outside of the tire radial direction of the belt layer 7 and a side wall part 3 reinforced by reinforcing rubber 8, a reinforcing rubber layer 11 is provided between the first belt ply 7a and the second belt ply 7b and the reinforcing rubber layer 11 has rubber JISA hardness of 50 to 95 and thickness of 1 mm to 4 mm.
