PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a board for growing plants, so designed that culture soil is not blown off by the strong wind or is not flown out by heavy rain, an excellent drainage characteristic is imparted thereto while efficiently absorbing rainwater therein, excellent heat insulation is given thereto by lightening the whole of the board, and the total cost is extremely lowered by simplifying maintenance thereof for a long term. SOLUTION: This board for growing plants has the following structure: a lid plate 2 is put on a bottom plate 1, and plural hollow rooms 3 are separately formed so as to be situated between the bottom plate 1 and the lid plate 2; wherein the hollow rooms 3 are respectively stuffed with culture soil 6 and plant seeds, the bottom plate 1 and the lid plate 2 each comprises an inorganic sintered foam body with open cells, and the lid plate 2 is made open via opening parts 5 which respectively communicate with the corresponding hollow rooms 3 and through which plants grow out. |
