PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grill preventing the clogging of a flame port of a gas burner and favorably recognizing a burned state of a material under cooking by quickly lighting the grill inside after a prescribed operation while holding the durability of components of the grill. SOLUTION: A dish 22 storing salt 21 is fixedly installed in the lower part in the right front side of a burner 3 and a turning mechanism 24 turning a metal lump 23 so as to contact with the salt 21 is provided. Only when a user wants to recognize the burned state of a material F under cooking, a knob 30 is pushed down and the high-temperature metal lump 23 roasted in the flame of a cooking frame port 8 is lowered and abuts on the salt 21 to heat it. The salt 21 is thus ionized and raised, the flame of the cooking flame port 8 is turned from a general blue into a yellow by a flame reaction of sodium, and the inside of a grill 2 becomes bright so that the burned state of the material F under cooking can be favorably recognized and the consumption quantity of the salt 21 can be suppressed.
