PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lifting device for vehicle spare tire capable of attaching and detaching a spare tire to and from the fixing member of a vehicle without requiring any special apparatus. SOLUTION: This lifting device 10 comprises the fixing member 2 having a fixed arm 22 mounted on the back side of the vehicle, a moving member 3 having moving arms 32 arranged at least one each on both sides of the bottom part of the spare tire 1, and a drive transmission means 4. The spare tire is arranged so as to be held between the fixed arm and the two moving arms.
