PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a toothbrush capable of easily and quickly sharpening the bristle tips without deteriorating an external appearance quality, and without increasing a manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: After implanting a brush 1 in a block read surface 4 of a head part 3 of a toothbrush handle 2, tip parts of the implanted brush 1 are trimmed in a prescribed shape. After sharpening the brush tip parts in a tapered shape by polishing the trimming surface by a polishing device 5, the bristle tips are melted further sharply by soaking the sharpened brush 1 in a dissolving solvent up to the prescribed depth, and the melted brush 1 is dried after performing water washing treatment or water washing and neutralizing treatment.
