<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protection bag for an automobile occupant head which swells downward along a cabin side face so that the bag is hardly caught on a cabin internal face in a swelling process. SOLUTION: The protection bag 1 is folded several times in such a manner that the bottom side of the bag 1 is superposed to a cabin inside (sheet 2 side) thereof along a return line extending in a longitudinal direction of an automobile to be a half way folded body, and then the half way folded body of the bag 1 is accordion-folded from a lower end to an upper end. Accordingly, the lower end of the bag 1 is located on the lower end side of the folded body. When the folded body of the bag 1 expands, the vertical accordion folding is unfolded, and then, the bottom end of the bag 1 folded on the cabin inside is expanded downward along the cabin side face at a slight distance from the cabin side face. Since the lower end of the bag is located on the lower end side of the folded body, the folded body always swells downward along the cabin side face.</p> |
