PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To output an image suitable for detailed observation by giving image emphasizing processing also to a shadow important for diagnosis when the shadow important for diagnosis exists outside of a detected abnormal shadow candidate. SOLUTION: A local image preparation means 20 inputs positional information D1 showing the existing area of the abnormal shadow candidate detected based on entire image data P1 from an abnormal shadow candidate detection means 10, extracts an area obtained by expanding the existing area according to a prescribed expansion condition as a local area based on the inputted positional information D1 and performs image emphasizing processing to the image data of the extracted local area to prepare local image data P2. The local image data P2 prepared by the means 20 is inputted together with the positional information D1 to display a local image P2' and an entire image P1'. |
