PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a snap ring mounting tool allowing easy and sure mounting of a snap ring with a simple constitution. SOLUTION: This tool is provided with a body part 1 and an operation part 2 oscillatable by being pivotally attached to a base end part of the body part 1. The body part 1 is provided with a holding rod 5 externally insertable by making the directions of a plurality of snap rings A, etc., uniform, a presser 6 for pressing and energizing the plurality of snap rings A, etc., externally inserted into the holding rod 5 from the base end side to a tip end side and a deterring face 10 for deterring the plurality of snap rings A, etc., pressed and energized with clearance corresponding to thickness of a sheet of the snap ring A with a tip surface of the holding rod 5. The operation part 2 is provided with an operating piece 18a advancing and retreating between the tip surface of the holding rod 5 and the deterring face 10 according to the oscillating operation of the operation part 2.
