PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gateway apparatus for pets simply adjustable to a height fitted to a frame in which entrance door, etc., is installed and a toilet device for pets using the apparatus. SOLUTION: This gateway apparatus 1 for pets has a gateway apparatus body 2 equipped with an entrance door 21 for pets, a height-adjusting member 3 inserted in the gateway apparatus body 2 and equipped with a vertically slidable guide rails 31 and a bellows type closing member 4 for closing a space between the gateway apparatus body 2 and the height-adjusting material 3. The folded closing member 4 is extended by sliding the guide rails 31 upwards and moving the height-adjusting member 3 upwards.
