PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anti-glare device capable of detecting the position of eyes of an occupant without a burden on the occupant, and dynamically performing anti-glare according to the position of the detected eyes. SOLUTION: This direct sunshine anti-glare device comprises one or a plurality of cameras installed to pick up the image of a face of the occupant, a detecting means for detecting the position of the eyes of the occupant from the image picked up by the cameras, a detecting means for detecting the brightness of the light incident on the face of the occupant, a shading means for shading a windshield by changing the shading range, and a shading control means for controlling the shading means by setting the shading range according to the position of the eyes of the occupant. Since the position of the eyes is detected from the picked-up image, anti-glare can be dynamically performed without any burden on the occupant.
