PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate recycling of a lithographic printing plate after being used by a user by a method wherein a very inexpensive material is employed and a cost for recovery is contrived so as not to be increased. SOLUTION: A used aluminum can C is not used in the recycling route R as the material of a high purity aluminum alloy having an aluminum content of 99.5 wt.% or more but is used as a low purity material having the aluminum content of 95-99.4 wt.%. The lithographic printing plate A2, manufactured by the low purity aluminum, is not required to be manufactured by aluminum, whose composition is controlled strictly, whereby the cost of the material can be reduced remarkably by utilizing the used aluminum can C.
