PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seal having a direction indicating bar, with which an accurate sealing to a predetermined sealing site can be realized by a lighthearted sealing operation without depending upon the incomplete senses of a human being. SOLUTION: The direction indicating bar is pivotally supported so as to be developable from a seal main body in order to bring the bar into a developed state normal to the peripheral side face of the seal main body for executing the positioning search of a stamping site of a document or the like for sealing.
