PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress overflow of adhesive from an electrical joint to the orifice plate side. SOLUTION: An electrode part 1104 is provided with bumps 1105 of Au, or the like, around which an insulation film 1111 is provided in order to prevent short circuit between different electrodes of electric wiring on the recording element board 1100 side and an electric wiring board 1300 in a thermocompression region. In a region of the insulation film 1111 facing the element side face 1113, a plurality of parts 1112 communicating with the element side face 1113 are provided in order to discharge excess adhesive at the time of thermocompression. The insulation film 1111 formed on the ejection opening group 1108 side is provided with no communicating part.
