PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized garbage disposal apparatus enhanced in the decomposition efficiency of garbage. SOLUTION: In the garbage disposal apparatus for fermenting garbage by the action of aerobic microorganisms to decompose the same, a disposal tank 10 is formed into a vertical cylindrical shape and a stirrer 20a is equipped with a plurality of stirring blades 22-24 positioned parallelly in an up and down direction in the disposal tank 10 to extend outwardly in a diameter direction and the stirring blades 22-24 are formed into a twisted shape inclined upwardly on the downward side of the rotary direction of the stirrer. By this constitution, the stirring effect of garbage in the disposal tank 10 is enhanced drastically to enhance the decomposition efficiency of garbage drastically.
