PURPOSE:To provide a multi-color heat sensitive recording medium which can form easily a multi-color image such as a full color image by applying only heat to the medium and recording method of its information. CONSTITUTION:A multi-color heat sensitive recording medium is provided in order with at least the first and second two layers of heat sensitive recording layers, which is ordinarily colorless and develops colors respectively in different color phases by color development reaction through heating, on both the surfaces of a transparent substrate. Then the foregoing multi-color heat sensitive recording medium is provided further with an achromatic layer between the first heat sensitive recording layer and second heat sensitive recording layer or further with a heat sensitive layer and diaphragm layer possessing two kinds of color-developing color phases on one surface of the substrate. |
