PURPOSE: To prevent starting shock from being given to a passenger at the time of starting a hydraulic elevator even if a hydraulic detector is broken, by judging the condition of breakage from respective breakage signals from a hydraulic jack breakage detector/hydraulic pump breakage detector, and controlling a motor. CONSTITUTION: When the breakage signal of a hydraulic pump hydraulic detector 9 is outputted from a hydraulic pump breakage detector 12, this controller makes pressure value on hydraulic pump 6 side come near that on hydraulic jack 3 side. The control amount, predetermined by a hydraulic detection value on the hydraulic jack 3 side is changed to open control given as the speed command value of a three-phase induction motor 4 to continue to operate a hydraulic elevator. If the breakage signal of a hydraulic jack hydraulic detector 8 is outputted from a hydraulic jack breakage detector 11 and a hydraulic elevator is operated under this condition, excessive starting shock may occur, so the operation of the hydraulic elevator is stopped. It is thus possible to prevent starting shock at the time of starting the hydraulic elevator. |
