<p>PURPOSE: A high strength air-permeable recycled fiberboard made of textile waste which maximizes shape stability after manufacturing a textile waste sheet by applying two or more needle punching processes to textile waste and increasing strength of the textile waste sheet by maximizing physical bond between textile wastes. CONSTITUTION: The air-permeable fiberboard having a density of 0.5 to 3 g/cm¬3 comprises 50 to 98 wt.% of textile waste; 0.2 to 50 wt.% of solids of shape maintaining finishing agent; and 0.1 to 20 wt.% of water and residue, wherein the fiberboard preferably comprises 1 to 98 wt.% of textile waste; 1 to 98 wt.% of newly manufactured fibers; 0.2 to 50 wt.% of solids of shape maintaining finishing agent; 0.1 to 20 wt.% of water and residue; and 0 to 10 wt.% of additives. The method for manufacturing a high strength air-permeable recycled fiberboard comprises the processes of manufacturing uniformly aligned textile waste webs by carding the relined textile waste after relining textile waste; manufacturing a textile waste sheet in which physical properties, heat insulating property and sound absorbing property are maximized by performing two or more multistage needle punchings on the laid-up textile waste webs after laying up the textile waste webs to a proper thickness; dipping the textile waste sheet into a finishing agent containing a reactive binder or resin solution, and additives; and cooling the resulting material after pre-drying, heat drying and forming the textile waste sheet dipped into the finishing agent.</p> |
